I was over at Big Bear’s, tapping my feet to the music he posted there and I was intrigued by the mp3 player he had in his post. If I can click something, I will! I decided to have a try at uploading and posting my own offering. This is from an album I often listen to when in Kara, it helps to keep my blood pressure low, hehe. It’s great “unwinding” music. I treated myself to a new monitor and it arrived today. I am just blown away by how WoW looks on it. I have acres of space! Warning, the screenshot is quite a big pic and will take a few seconds to download. Episode 4 is up. I had got used to it being posted early Monday morning and it was the first thing I went to look for yesterday when I logged on. I was crushed, crushed I tell you, to see it hadn’t been released! I continued to check back all day but it wasn’t until I came out of Kara last night, tired and ready to go to bed, that it popped up in my feed reader. I have had real problems getting into my site this morning, something that is happening regularly. I am trying out a new hosting company, Host Monster and I am feeling more and more disappointed with them. Can I ask how may of you have problems loading my site? |

  Last night I tanked ST and had a lot of fun. It was only my 3rd time tanking on Dimity but I’m starting to feel more comfortable with it and on the whole, I think I did OK. I rarely lost aggro even though I was level 48 and we had a level 53 hunter and a level 55 mage along. That’s probably due as much to the fact that they didn’t rush in blasting right from the get-go rather then my uber tanking skills! We had no wipes and the only death was me, when I ran round a corner straight into a group of mobs; the healer was still drinking and had no los on me. I will have to go back as I need a decent shield and I have my eye on Crest of Supremacy. I also hadn’t had time to collect many quests in there so I will need to make at least one return trip anyway. Read the rest of this entry » |

There’s a new episode of the Twisted Nether Blogcast out. Having just staggered in from the night shift (the last one, hurray!), it’s a nice way to unwind before I go to bed. Bre and Fim sound more relaxed and confident every week, it just gets better and better. Well done chaps and chappesses! |

Well, I finally got my arse in gear today and did a load of daily quests on Élen, Winífred and Ravenwynd in a bit push to get the last few gold for Élen’s epic flying mount. She has 12G left! I need to set myself a goal so the next thing on the list will be a blue one for Hulan. I also got busy on Hulan and ran heroic Slave Pens to get the last badge she needed for Essence of the Martyr. It’s been quite a productive day! |

I’ve been meaning to post this for ages. I took the screenshot when Ravenwynd first got her flight form. I messed about with it in PaintShopPro and used it for my desktop for a while. I was quite pleased with the effect I got. |

I finally got the css for the main body of the site working properly which means the acre of space between the posts and the sidebar is gone. The lightbox plugin is now working. For some strange reason now I’ve made the changes, in IE everything in the sidebar is centred even though I haven’t changed any of the code there! It still looks ok-ish though and I’m fed up of faffing with it; it seems like as I fix one issue, I break something else! Now the only thing left to work on is the header. |
