Dimity has finally recovered from the shame of her tanking trews and, after months of hiding upstairs at the Honor Hold Inn, has decided to show her face again…but not her arse; I took pity on her and got her some new ones. I had barely played her since I wrote that post back in July and only logged into her to disenchant things. She had no talents or anything so when I filled in her talent tree and went to visit the trainer it was a bit of a shock.
Having so many characters, reading patch notes can be a bit bewildering. When all the WotLK beta information was flying around I pretty much ignored it. There was too much to take in all at once and it was changing so fast there seemed little point trying to get a handle on it. I probably did take a look at the paladin changes when patch 3.0 came out but hadn’t taken much note as Dimity was on the shelf at the time. Having visited the trainer I was faced with bewildering gaps in my button bars (I couldn’t even remember what had been there so I didn’t have the faintest idea what I might replace it with) and a raft of new spells I’d never even heard of. Not only did I have the usual array of Blessings and Seals, I now had Hands and 3 different types of Judgements!!!
Fortunately, the rogue friend I got the hump with last summer was online on his new alt…his main just happens to be a prot pally
I had a long chat with him about glyphs, rotations etc and then went on the rampage in Hellfire Peninsula. I dinged level 62 just before I logged off
I am really enjoying Northrend but having levelled two characters to 80 in quick succession and being level 75 on my mage I need a bit of a break from it. Dimity will be just perfect to potter around on in the meantime.
