Does My Bum Look Big in This?

Dimity has hit Outland. On Monday night a friend with a level 60 rogue asked me if I wanted to try tanking the Ramparts. I jumped at the chance and accepted the invite. He whispered me, asking me to put on my tanking set and I replied that I was wearing my tanking set. He was surprised at how low my hp was. Now normally I’d have accepted the remark rationally, and discussed it like a grown up but Monday was not a normal day for me. Last week I worked 6 12-hour night shifts because the team following mine on nights was short-handed. I finished on Sunday morning and got up after just 4 hours sleep. I slept really well on Sunday night but still felt like I’d been hit by a train on Monday. Feeling like a bear with a sore head doesn’t even begin to describe it. This rogue is a very good online friend of mine that I’ve played with for 2 years now, there’s no way his comment was meant to be snippy or critical in a demeaning way. What did I do? Told him to find another tank and logged off on a huff and shut down Skype*sigh*

For the next 2 hours I surfed the net and seethed, mostly at myself for being such a silly cow! In the end I logged back on to Skype to see if he was online, as soon as I did he messaged me to see if I was OK. I apologised profusely for being such a drama queen (I hate it when other people pull this crap and felt really ashamed of myself for behaving this way) and he shrugged it off and said he had sent Dimity something in the mail. When I logged in and checked my mail there was a full set of decent tanking armour in my mailbox! I equipped it all (except the shoulders which are level 61) and my sta went from 273 to 359, my AC increased from 6037 to 7515 plus I gained about 20 extra int and def. Then I took my tabard off to check out what Dimity looked like in her new gear. I swear he bought those pants on purpose! My humiliation is complete *sigh*
