I treated myself to a new monitor and it arrived today. I am just blown away by how WoW looks on it. I have acres of space! Warning, the screenshot is quite a big pic and will take a few seconds to download. I resized it to around 70% of the original size and it should give you some idea of the glory that is on my screen

so, I love add-ons possibly more then I love playing that game. I’m curious about your UI.
your top bar- is thatt a clear skin for fubar? or is it titan maybe? I haven’t tried titan. I really like the clear though.
autobar: I downloaded it but cannot get it to work. when I enable it, it breaks my other action bars but does not show up. maybe I should try again. I didn’t like the size of it, but now that I see it smaller on your screen, it does look pretty useful.
do you do all your chatting/looting/etc in just one box?
I like your bars. are they bartender or somethng else? Mostly I like that the buttons have space between them. I use bartender/cycircled but I’m thinking of going square for awhile.
is that Lunar Sphere under your tooltip?

I have a baby priest. Level 31. I rolled her because its hard to get into groups as a hunter and everyone always need a healer. Starting with deadmines, I have leveled her entirely in pugs. No questing at all. No solo whatsoever. So I haven’t even used her offensive spells. Like at all. I’m thinking about playing her again though and actually doing some questing and wondering what you would recommend as far as spec. I’d like to be able to both quest AND heal instances. Can holy quest alone? Can shadow properly heal? Is Disc just for PvP? If you’ve already covered this stuff, feel free to just post a link.

The top bars are fubar with a transparent background; the box around them (and the boxes at the bottom) are made using eepanels.
I love autobar and have used it for ages. It’s now an ace addon and you can configure it via fubar – maybe you’ve tried an older version?
Yes, I deal with all of my chat in one box. I often filter out general, trade and lfg unless I have a specific reason to want to watch those channels (usually lfg).
The sphere under my tooltip is cryolisis (sp?) a mage addon.
The bars are bartender. the 3 banks of 6 correspond to the extra keys i have on my keyboard (Logitech G11)
When I levelled Hulan I levelled her as shadow all the way to 70 but pug’d every instance I could (except the dreaded Gnomergan) and healed through them all. At lower levels a seperate healing set isn’t really necessary and you won’t be finding much, if any, gear with healing and damage stats on it. once you hit Outland you will start to find a lot more of that and can start building a seperate healing set. I waited until I’d done all the solo quests before respeccing to Holy and I rarely had a problem healing. When things went wrong they were usually so horribly wrong that being Holy wouldn’t have made much difference. You will probably get through more mana pots but should be able to heal in normal instances up to and including 70
