As you can see, I’ve been redecorating here. I’m pretty much happy with it although there are a couple of niggle. Firstly the section at the top, it looks a bit plain. When I can summon up the enthusiasm I shall have a cast about in my screenshots and see if there’s anything I can use. Secondly, I installed a lightbox plugin. It works fine on the test blog on my PC but doesn’t work on my site. This is the one I got, if anyone can recommend another please shout up in the comments. The final niggle is how the site displays in FF. Until I got the category icons working in the sidebar the main background box had a nice jagged edge. It shows up in IE just fine, isn’t that bloody typical?! I’m not going to lose any sleep over it though.
Edit: the lightbox is fixed, thanks to the author’s help.
Things I am pleased with are the category icons in general, I’ve had my eye on that plugin for a while. The other thing is being able to link my blogroll to Bloglines. I often add new reads to Bloglines and forget to add them to my blog meaning that when I do get around to it, there’s loads. Now I don’t have to 
Hm not sure if it’s a bug or meant to be there but the site is currently times and a half my screen width (I’m on ye olde 1024×768) but with a huuuge gap between this section (writings and comments) and the sidebar
Is looking pretty cool, though (and yay for the dwarfette tagline!)
