Judge Not…

…unless you’re a Paladin of course! I am really enjoying Dimity and now just 2 levels away from getting her mount. Today I re-spec’d her as protection and spent some time this afternoon massacring Murlocs in Dustwallow Marsh. I was very chuffed when, on my first pull, I finally finished the fight with 12 dead murlocs to loot. The trickiest thing is not pulling too many initially; 3 or 4 is a nice number to start with. As you get the first one down he runs away to fetch a friend and in the meantime you continue to party with the rest of the crowd and so it goes on until you run out of murlocs….or you die!

I only died once though. That was a bad pull and I started out with about half a dozen and then a patrol happened by and joined in too. I was toast pretty quickly. I did think after that what might have helped was not only casting Seal of Light but judging it on a mob and then recasting the seal for extra healing. The hardest thing at this point is gathering up a few mobs; it’s a pain to do on foot and involves backing up to the next mob to avoid the daze effect. I am so looking forward to the horsie!

Thanks to batgrl, Dimity is the first of my characters to do the Sully Balloo questline. I’m almost embarrassed to admit that although I have been playing for 3 years and have taken numerous characters through the Wetlands I had never discovered this quest. I did try to get to Foggy MacKreel but my Dwarvish legs were too short to make the jump successfully. Jumping in WoW is not one of my strong points…ask anyone who’s been in a BFD group with me and waited patiently for 10 minutes for me to get across the stepping stones!

Hooray for the Sully quest! I have to admit I still haven’t gone back to try Foggy MacKreel on any of my characters because I’m sure I’m going to end up spending hours jumping and swimming and jumping and swimming! And it’s silly of me but heights in game make me just as nervous as they do in real life, which has a lot to do with me putting it off. Ugh, and suddenly I’m reminded of that awful chain you have to run along over the lava to get to MC!
